By popular demand, we are making "The Teatime Sessions" available via digital music channels. The release is already online at, Amazon MP3 Store, Napster, Rhapsody and Lala. iTunes (Worldwide) and eMusic will follow in the coming weeks (if they aren't already there).
The Teatime Sessions is a collection of 9 live recordings made during the Tea with Hungry Lucy podcast over the past year and a half. These are nicely mixed & mastered versions of the original recordings and sound much better than the low quality podcast MP3.

The 100th episode of The with Hungry Lucy ... who would have thought such nonsense could last? This week, Christa and War-N slack off by letting everyone else run the show. We hear from fellow podcasters, musicians and all-around great people. We also hear the first version of a brand-new Hungry Lucy song called "Forever More" along with Christa and War-N's plans for polishing it up.
Thanks for continuing to listen ... 100 more podcasts (and songs) are coming your way. Any requests?

What did HL talk about this episode? Well, there was Howard Jones, Howard Jones and uh Howard Jones! Just back, literally, from the road on a trip to Pittsburgh, the duo settle back into a warm house with a nice little chat. Other than HoJo madness, CB mentions an unusual OPM (in this case Other People’s Market’s) in the form of Jungle Jim’s International Market. A mainstay in Christa’s culinary adventures, she just wanted to “shoutout” to the man in the cape for sticking with small business since 1974! Thanks, Jim!
What the SMEG is this? It’s beautiful, it’s functional and it’s in the kitchen! What Christa thought was Italian is actually British. Oops!
Also, a BIG thanks to Ellie for allowing two total strangers to sit front and center at the Howard Jones show at her table! It was lovely to meet you and hope you made it back to Wisconsin safely
You made the experience even that much cooler!Hey…you should grab the original version of ‘Glo‘ while you still can. After this bunch runs out, the double-disc will no longer be available!! A single disc version will be put in its place. This is all in the hopes to draw more folks to the lovely songs on the album and make it more affordable for YOU! Oh yeah. Don’t forget we still have a bunch of t-shirts and hoodies available for your lovely body to wear!
See ya next week on the 100th episode of Tea with Hungry Lucy!! Thanks for listening all these episodes! You’ve made it great
Howard Jones then:
Howard Jones now(ish):
Wanna know what Hungry Lucy talked about this week? So do they! Having recorded the poodcast last night and posting it today, HL seem to have forgotten what on earth they discussed! Things they do know are the OPM's. CB's choice was Smashing Pumpkins, specifically the album 'Adore'. War-N chatted about KLF and their origins and their method to their madness (video). The jaunty intro is back, as is the outro, until further notice. Power to the Chloe!!
A sneak peek into a rehearsal on the brand-new song "The Standing Ones". A bit on the wonky side mix-wise, but oh well! With another week to rehearse, it's sounding pretty good. But, there's ALWAYS room for improvement!! Like what you hear? Let us know here.
Join us next week when HL can report on how the show went and how the Vertigo Reunion goes!
This week brings such wondrous excitement, where to begin?? HL chat about getting ready for live shows, making audio tracks and making new videos for the new songs they will be performing (don't you wish YOU could hear?? You CAN!!) CB chats a bit about vegetarian rennet and the sources to find cheeses made with said rennet, which she will post on her christabelle.com site soon. OPM from CB this week was Angelo Badalamenti and her viewing of Twin Peaks season 2 on the channel 'Chiller'. War-N had no OPM, nor did we use the jingle! Happy, Angel? ;)
The duo also discuss their recent finding of a warren out in their back yard, whilst mowing. What could have been VERY bad is now a saga of "will he get kicked out of the hole?". Stay tuned to see how Trauma, the bunny, fares with his siblings and Momma Bunny!!
To make sure you get YOUR new HL shirt or hoodie in the size you desire, pre-order HERE! They're going fast, and we don't even have them in stock yet!
After a week off, War-N and Christa return for more random banter. This week the duo chat about preparations for two upcoming shows (in Dayton, OH and Pittsburgh, PA). War-N is working on some new arrangements and Christa on some new videos. These shows should fill the need for some full-on, real Hungry Lucy shows. War-N rants a bit about the foolish comments of Elton John and Christa shares some new writing and photos on christabelle.com. For OPM this week, War-N talks about the song "Listen" by Tears for Fears as well as the wonderful film Little Children (and soundtrack by Thomas Newman). Christa chats about Peter Murphy, his involvement with Sarah Fimm and her own return to all things dark and lovely as Fall approaches.
T-Shirts have been ordered ... order yours very soon. Do your musical moods change with the Seasons? Tell us about it..

In episode 81 of TWHL Christa and War-N talk about more BSOD adventures, how live performance has chipped away some of their former confidence and their plans to overcome it. The pair tell us of their grand plans for two upcoming shows in September (in Dayton and Pittsburgh) and War-N threatens to perform topless .... ewwww! OPMs this week are Azam Ali's latest project, Roseland, The Cranes and the deliciously dark film, Pan's Labyrinth. Then podcast ends with Christa off to punch some dough.
What HL songs would YOU like to hear live?.

The blue screen of death nearly prevents episode 80 from seeing the light of day. As Christa and War-N speak their special brand of nonsense and tell us tales of hearing disorders, bearded men in tutus, the planting of trees and other such oddities. Final mixing of the song, Hill is complete and War-N keeps us guessing about its impending release. Christa shares her impressions of the delightful Prairie Home Companion film (and radio show) and War-N does his best Garrison Keillor impersonation ... nose whistle and all.
Thanks for all the orders this week folks! How was your week? Mac or PC for you?.

Early Sunday morning...huh? In an earlier than usual podcast, the duo chat about the progress on their new track "Hill", which is coming along quite nicely! CB goes on a small Gardening expedition and War-N quotes Rollo from Faithless on "not catering to anyone's taste but your own." That said, Faithless was this week's OPM, without the catchy little jingle. CB&W enjoyed a fabulous film called "The Fountain" and marveled at the film's visuals and story. Wow...what a Hugh Jackman you have!!
More progress on the t-shirts. An order will surely follow soon (probably in a couple of weeks) and we can all wear new HL t-shirts designed by Neil! :) But, we need your input. What size do you prefer? We will have regular black t-shirts, baby doll t's and the long sleeved hoodies. How do you like yours...small, medium, large, XL or more? Let us know HERE.

Story behind the song, and powered by vegetables are back for an appearance! This week the duo discuss CB taking a trip to Asheville N.C., War-N writing new tunes for an old vocal piece CB did at least two years ago and the somewhat weird article Christa read on turning vegetarians back into meat eaters. War-N chats about being inspired more by rhythms again and the process for his new writings. Also War-N chats about the remix he just finished for Lovespirals. No official OPM’s, but War-N mentions the lovely cross-promotion with “The Secret Meeting” and how it’s all about community..in’t it?!
Stay tuned for next week’s show which may, or may not, bring a preview of a brand new track! That being the aforementioned rhythmic delight which will be titled “Hill”. Don’t miss it!
You want a new, loopy theme tune? Do you enjoy the silliness?Tell us here.
